Breaking It Down

Minutes spent waiting for doctor: 105
Number of prescriptions: 3
Co-pays, prescriptions, and OTC medications: $100
Number of times noses have been wiped: infinite
Number of times noses have been wiped on my shirt: infinite plus one (Girls, mommy is not a kleenex. Thank you.)
Number of times Party Girl has screeched and thrown herself back in protest of nose wiping: See above.
Hours of lost sleep: Approximately 28, thankfully not in a row. Still. That's 4 nights sleep in two weeks time.
Mysterys solved: One. M. unplugged the vaporizer. I'm not crazy -- yet.
Days this virus has been in our house: 14
Number of family members who have not gotten it: 1
Number of times children have coughed into healthy family member's mouth: 25
Number of fingers and toes crossed that she will not come down with it: all
Chance of her not coming down with it: <1%

and finally

Seeing my girls finally start to feel better, and to smile and sing and play again?

You guessed it.

Priceless.

Oh, thank goodness. You think it's finally leaving? This was the virus that wouldn't quit. It's the little pink bunny of viruses.

I spoke too soon. Sass had a fever of 102 when she went to bed tonight. It ain't over till the fat lady sings, and I guess I'm not singing tonight :).

Oh dear. I do know how it is. We've had a virus for weeks now and just keep passing it from one family member to another - & back again!!!!!!!! Hope Sass is feeling better this morning. How are you doing with the weightloss? When I am ill or worried about the Kids being ill I tend to Binge. Take care. xx
